RV Rental Rates, Terms and Conditions

Rental Rates

Sanitation Fee $25
Winterizing Fee $100
Motorhome rates include 100 free miles per day. Additional miles are $0.25 each.

During July and August, all rentals are by the week only. Pick-up Friday at 4pm and drop-off Friday by noon.

Rental Policies and Conditions

Renter and Driver Requirements
The following requirements must be met to rent or drive a vehicle from A & S:
1) Renters/Drivers must have valid driver's license and proof of insurance   
2) Must be at least 18 years of age     
3) Must provide A & S with employment information     
4) Must possess a major credit card and     
5) Must provide references upon request

The renter is responsible for all traffic violations.

Reservation and Security Deposit
A $250.00 deposit will be collected at the time a rental is reserved.  The deposit is non-refundable unless 60 days written notice of cancellation is received.  An additional $500.00 is required upon departure to make up a $750.00 security deposit ($500.00 security deposit for travel trailers). 

Payment
All rental charges, estimated mileage, deposits, and sales tax will be collected at the time of departure. These charges are payable in cash, certified check, Mastercard, Visa, or Discover.   A $25 sanitation fee will be charged to all rentals to flush and sanitize holding tanks.

Insurance
A & S RV Center fully insures the rental motor homes.  Customer is liable for $750 collision insurance deductible ($500.00 for travel trailers).

Rental Pick-up and Return
Unless otherwise specified, rental pick-up is 4:00 p.m. and return is 12:00 p.m.  Failure to return the rental vehicle at the specified time, without proven just cause, will result in a penalty of $250 per day or portion of day.  During July and August, only weekly rates apply, with all reservations beginning on Friday at 4 and ending on Friday at noon.

Maintenance and Breakdown Responsibility
The customer is responsible for checking engine oil, fluids, and coolant levels at each refueling, as well as reporting mechanical failures immediately.  Instructions and procedures for maintenance are provided at pick-up.  Customers may be held liable for mechanical damage due to negligent vehicle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance.  Renter  assumes liability for any damage to the vehicle if the RV water system is used during freezing temperatures. Winterizing charge is $100.

Vehicle Return
It is the renter’s responsibility to return the unit clean inside.  Outside must be free of road tar, oil, etc. Failure to return the motor home clean will result in a minimum $100 clean-up fee.
Fuel and propane tanks are full at delivery and must be returned full. If vehicle is not returned full, renter will be charged for gas and LPG.

Mechanical Failure
In case of mechanical failure, renter should notify A & S RV Center by a collect phone call.  It is the renter’s responsibility to have the unit taken to the appropriate chassis dealer where the repair can be performed under warranty.  We will reimburse the renter for legitimate, pre-authorized repairs provided invoices and receipts are submitted.  If the breakdown is due to misuse, the renter is liable for all repairs.

General Conditions
Rentals are subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.  Prices, policies, and conditions are subject to change without notice. Our ability to provide a motor home, if reserved, is contingent upon and subject to its return by the previous lessee and to accidents and other causes beyond A & S RV Center’s control.  There is no guarantee that rental vehicles will follow the exact exterior appearance or interior floor plan displayed on this brochure or web site.
